  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  4. Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15-20 minutes). Drain, then mash with butter and milk until creamy.

  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
