  • 1 head iceberg lettuce (large leaves)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (minced)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup chopped veggies (bell peppers and carrots)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by mincing garlic and ginger, and chopping bell peppers and carrots into small pieces.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until browned (about 5-7 minutes), breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add minced garlic, ginger, and chopped veggies to the skillet; sauté for another 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil; cook for an additional minute to coat evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix hoisin sauce with a splash of water if needed to thin it out.
  6. Spoon turkey filling into each lettuce leaf, drizzle with hoisin sauce, fold up, and serve.
