- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 4 cups Fritos corn chips
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
- ½ cup sour cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
- Add black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), and chili powder to the slow cooker. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Stir before serving; spoon chili into bowls and generously sprinkle Fritos on top.
- Finish with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream.
