  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain, and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and crispy (about 8-10 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter along with minced garlic and chopped rosemary. Sauté until fragrant, then drizzle in honey while stirring to create a sauce.
  4. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water if necessary to achieve desired consistency. Toss until well-coated.
  5. Serve topped with crispy mushrooms and extra rosemary if desired.
