Description

  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour with melted butter until crumbly. Stir in chopped nuts and sprinkle over the pumpkin layer.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until set in the center; a toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
