Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper; simmer for two minutes without boiling.
- Layer half the potato slices in the baking dish, pour half the cream mixture over them, and sprinkle half the cheeses on top. Repeat with remaining potatoes, cream, and cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
