Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
 - In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
 - In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add eggs one at a time, followed by the maple syrup.
 - Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in the toasted pecans.
 - Drop mounds of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
