  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup candy corn
  • 2 tbsp green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and granulated sugar until smooth; remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool slightly before cutting into squares and decorating with candy corn and green sprinkles.
