- 9 lasagna noodles
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, beaten egg, half of the shredded mozzarella, salt, pepper, and chopped basil until combined.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the baking dish. Layer with noodles, half of the cheese mixture, and half of the spinach. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Finish with another layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
