  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round baking pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth; then combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Divide the batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  5. For frosting, whip butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream. Fold in crushed Oreos.
  6. Layer the cake with frosting in between and on top; decorate with more crushed Oreos.
