Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and sugar. In another bowl, beat eggs until fluffy, then mix in melted butter. Gently combine both mixtures until smooth.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until springy.
- Cool slightly on a wire rack, then roll the cake using a clean kitchen towel while it’s still warm to shape it.
- Once cooled completely, unroll the cake and spread hazelnut spread evenly over the surface before re-rolling it without the towel.
- Place seam-side down on a platter, dust with powdered sugar, and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
