Instructions

  2. Mix in softened butter, honey, chopped sage, and salt. Gradually stir in flour until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 8 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Punch down the dough; divide into equal portions and shape into balls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover rolls and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with extra honey butter.
