Instructions
- Boil the eggs by placing them in a saucepan, covering with cold water, bringing to a boil, then removing from heat and letting sit covered for 12 minutes.
- Transfer boiled eggs to ice-cold water until completely cooled; then peel.
- Slice each egg in half lengthwise, scoop out yolks into a bowl, and mash with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon the yolk mixture back into each egg white half.
- Cut black olives in half for bodies and slice additional halves into strips for legs; create spiders on each egg.
- Sprinkle paprika on top before serving.
