  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper; roast on a baking sheet for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; whisk in flour and cook for one minute. Gradually add milk while stirring until thickened. Stir in cheddar until melted.
  5. Combine macaroni, cheese sauce, and roasted Brussels sprouts in a bowl; transfer to a greased baking dish.
  6. Mix bacon with panko breadcrumbs; sprinkle over the mac and cheese mixture before baking for 20 minutes or until golden.
